Eagle Meadows Business Park – Corner Feature

Location: Pitt Meadows, BC, Canada
Project Type: Industrial Business Park – Public Realm Feature
Building Area: Approx. 370,000 sq.ft. (34,374 m²)

Role: Corner Feature Lead Designer, Concept Design, Design Development, Development Permit Support

Designed as a gateway landmark and public gathering feature for the Eagle Meadows Business Park development, this signature corner installation celebrates the cultural identity and heritage of the Katzie First Nation while creating a recognizable point of arrival within the larger industrial campus.

The design draws inspiration from Katzie First Nation cultural symbols and narratives, incorporating references to the eagle, traditional pit house structures, the Medicine Wheel, snake patterns, and communal gathering spaces. These influences were interpreted through a contemporary sculptural feature integrating heavy timber, metal, landscape elements, seating areas, and public amenity space.

Project responsibilities included leading the concept design and design development of the corner feature, supporting the Development Permit process, and coordinating the integration of cultural, landscape, and architectural design objectives within the overall project vision.
