This project involved the development of an interim passenger terminal to support ferry operations during the phased redevelopment of the Belleville Terminal precinct in Victoria’s Inner Harbour.

Designed in conjunction with the historic Steamship Terminal Building, the temporary facility incorporates a lightweight fabric structure that maintains uninterrupted passenger service while respecting the heritage character of the waterfront setting. The terminal supports cross-border passenger travel between Canada and the United States, accommodating passenger processing, circulation, queuing, security functions, and waterfront access within an active transportation hub.

Project responsibilities included design development, consultant coordination, preparation of construction documentation, and support through the tender phase, while integrating operational requirements, accessibility considerations, and heritage context within the overall project design.
